7 shillings and 6 pence for a book!  This railway poster was commissioned by London, Midland and Scottish Railway and London and North Eastern Railway in 1935.  The Face of Scotland, a book that can still be found today but not unfortunately for the same price.  A collaborative effort, this poster advertises the book and the railways.

This is poster 6 in a series of 26 classic images reproduced in 2011 for the Scottish Highlands Railway Poster Art Exhibition. This image is from Series 1.

In addition to the small and large poster sizes, these art posters are also available in complete sets of postcard size. Series 1 (all 26 postcards) and Series 2 (all 26 postcards) are available for £12.50 each.
